Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of the book entitled: "Foundations and Theories of Teaching Farsi to Non-Native Speakers”. It also identifies the most prominent methods and strategies used in teaching Farsi to non-native speakers, the role of the teacher and the teacher’s adherence to the foundations to be followed when using the various teaching aids and materials. Moreover, the study also attempts to select the best educational methods that might help the teacher provide learners with the correct linguistic information and knowledge that meet their needs, thereby contributing - in the opinion of the researcher - to the success of the desired educational process. The study also aims to identify the most important principles that enable non-Farsi-speaking learners to communicate easily with the natives without fear of making mistakes that undoubtedly hinder the success of this process.
