The importance of translation is to diffusion science and knowledge among individuals and peoples. It also occupies a prominent position in terms of understanding different cultures. From here comes the role of the translator, who serves as a link between peoples, as it is the basis on which the reader relies to understand the translated texts. But is the translator alone the link in the process of translating texts, or are there others? And what is their role? Does this role come during the translation process, before or after? The answer to these questions is the content of this article, which will examine the forms of intervention on the translated text from revision and re-reading, and then the impact of these interventions on the translated text, whether negatively or positively, with the aim of finally reaching a compromise that guarantees the quality of the translation while preserving the role of both translator and reviewer.
