Abstract

This study highlights; On the narrator, his definition and types, as well as the Urdu novel in the second half of the twentieth century. Then it deals with the study of one of the types of narrator, which is the implicit (participating) narrator. It also addresses the writer Jamila Hashemi and her novel “Talash Bharaں: Searching for Spring.” The importance of the research lies in knowing the narrator. Its importance in literary work, Was the Urdu novel in the second half of the twentieth century able to contain the narrative and its various styles within its lines and pages? In its pages, the study will rely on quoting from Urdu novels that serve the research and clarify the importance of the narrative and its styles, while using Arabic sources.
